GM Diet!!!!

GM Diet

7-Day Meal Plan:

Before you begin, the best way you can prepare yourself for the GM diet is by making sure you have plenty of pure, clean water to drink every single day. This is an important aspect of the diet that cannot be overlooked. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day will keep you energized and boost your metabolism. It will also help prevent fatigue, any muscle pain or weakness, or increased body heat that can come with shedding pounds so quickly. You must avoid alcohol altogether for the entire week. Not even a skinny martini. Alcohol can trigger fluid retention and prevent the body from flushing out excess liquids in your body. The diet is meticulously designed to get results. Don’t mess with it or you won’t get the promised outcome.
Day # 1 –Consume only fruits throughout the day. You can eat all fruit other than bananas. Good choices include melon and watermelon. Drink plenty of water. Another option is to place a variety of fruit in a blender and pour in a thermos. This works great if you are headed out to work, school, the gym or wherever.
Day # 2 – Eat all the raw or cooked vegetables you can consume. You may start your day with a baked potato for breakfast with oil or butter. You can enjoy all your vegetables as a salad and use white or wine vinegar, lemon and herbs for flavoring. Do NOT use salad dressing. You’ll blow the whole diet.
Day # 3Combine both fruits and vegetables in any amount without bananas or potatoes. Fruits and vegetables can be combined in a blender as well for a quick way to consume them on the go.
Day # 4 Milk and bananas are the choices for the day. Eat as many as 8 bananas and drink at least 3 glasses of any kind of unsweetened milk. The potassium in the bananas and the calcium in the milk are a key part of this diet. This is the day you can enjoy the special soup along with your bananas and milk. Most likely, you will not be able to eat all 8 bananas in one day.
Day # 5 - Enjoy a celebration meal of beef and tomatoes that includes two 10-ounce portions of lean meat or hamburger with six whole tomatoes. It is important to increase your water intake to help your body get rid of the uric acid that you will be producing on this day. Aim for an increase of water by one quart.
Day # 6 – On this day, you can consume unlimited amounts of high, lean protein and vegetables.
Day # 7 – Whew! The last day consists of eating all the vegetables you can consume, fruit juices and brown rice. No meat. Make sure the fruit juice is not from a concentrate or bottled with added sugar. If you have access to a juicer, the sky is the limit with creating your fruit juices.

Does the GM Diet Work?

While it has been a very popular diet plan over the years, there are still some questions about the effectiveness of the GM diet. According to recent studies, this diet plan is indeed effective in reducing excess pounds at a fast rate. While normal weight loss strategies induce at the most of 1 pound per week lost, the GM diet can help get rid of up to 10 lbs each week by simply following its food intake regimen.
At the same time however, this diet plan may prove to be overwhelming to first time users, as it involves radical change of diet intake that consists mainly of raw fruits and vegetables and reduced meat servings.
The effectiveness of the GM diet should also be supplemented by a regular exercise routine, as according to nutrition experts, the diet alone would leave the individual tired and weak. Through routine exercise of up to 10 minutes each day, the body’s metabolism would be sped up and be able to keep up with the diet requirements. Followers of this diet plan would also benefit from regular exercise as they get to enjoy normal energy levels and use the pounds they shed in more productive activities.

To those who are planning to follow the GM diet as their weight loss management regimen, they should be able to withstand excess sweating, occasional feeling of hunger, and momentary weakness, as these are among the common side effects during the first days of the diet routine.
One way to prepare for the GM diet is by staying hydrated. That is, regular water intake should be observed, at 8-10 glasses each day. This is because once the body welcomes the effects of GM diet it would require extra water for energy and metabolism. Those who instantly follow the diet system may suffer from incessant muscle pain and weakness, increased body heat, and malaise, and all of these could only be regulated by adequate amounts of water in the body.
Avoiding alcohol intake should also be observed when preparing for the GM diet. This is because alcohol prevents the effects of the diet from taking place, and followers would only end up stumped with their current weight even after a week of weight loss management. Alcohol also triggers water retention, which prevents individuals from getting rid of the excess fluids from their systems.
