Times We Were Inspired by Demi Lovato’s Style

Times We Were Inspired by Demi Lovato’s Style

Demi Lovato isn’t just an incredible singer. She isn’t just a mental health advocate and outspoken real girl in a very weird world. Not to diminish her other accomplishments, but she’s also a darn good dresser. Demi’s enviable style has a few signatures — shrunken leather jackets, hot pants with fishnets — and whether she’s wearing them on stage, on the red carpet or on the city streets, it’s clear that Ms. Lovato always looks stunning. She’s come a long way since Camp Rock and blossomed into a full-fledged adult pop star with style to match.

Demi rang in 2016 in the most New Year's Eve outfit imaginable — a sparkly cut-out bodysuit topped with a furry coat, finished with over-the-knee boots.

Just when we thought peplum was out, Demi's convinced us it definitely is not. This is such a fun update on a leather jacket. It's flirty and fierce.

A blazer and a porkpie hat never looked so chic. We are so digging Demi's take on retro menswear.

Demi knows that it's best to look chic AF at all times, like when leaving The Late Show with Stephen Colbert . Here she is in a killer (and cute) embroidered Alaïa dress.

We know Demi isn't just about sounding good. It's also about looking good, like when she wore this strapless floral jumpsuit.

Demi's affinity for leather jackets carries out into the streets. This is a classic off-duty look with an edgy twist.

Demi went for old-school Hollywood glamour complete with gravity-defying pin curls for the American Music Awards in 2015. This is how you do backless (in Lorena Sarbu).

We've never seen suiting look so sexy. At the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Demi cut up the flow of her Chanel suit with lacy lingerie.

We're going to have to steal this modern throwback look of an oversized blazer worn as a dress (paired with very 90s raisin-colored lips).
